Fantastic, as a scot who now lives in Austin im very proud to see paul as manager, whats really awesome is i had a season ticket in 2006 for hibs seen him play too! really looking foward to seeing him an hell ill even give the tryouts a shot in march good lucky paul

No!! building a sss outside of austin is a death sentence. We need to establish our roots first in austin before even considering a move to the burbs. The reason I never went to an aztex game in round rock WAS BECAUSE IT WAS IN ROUND ROCK dragon stadium!!! Even now with transportation I would still hesistate to drive out there. For now we have to put up with football markings that’s still fine, let’s just focus on builduing this teams fan base. We still have plenty from the last franchise. Now let’s expand that fill up house park and attract some investors to fill a usl pro team. Let’s stick to baby steps and short term goals for now.

JP, the AISD board approved the contract last night. So the Aztex will use House Park for the 2012 season. Can’t wait!

I’m not sure what the outcome of the vote was. I do hope the Aztex are able to play at House Park. It’s a great venue for the team and its fans.

I would propose that earlier start times be considered (i.e. 7:00). This might help mitigate late-night disturbances for the neighborhood, and would be more convenient for families with kids, who make up a considerable part of the fan base. Can’t wait for the season to start!

No offense but this is a PDL team…they don’t pay most of the players if Im not mistaken and what with the wealth of support from American sponsorships I assume they would rather buy the Cedar Park center…tear it down and build an Old Trafford clone in its place…
