Austin Aztex Announce Season Ticket Options and New Membership Program

AUSTIN, Tex.  (Wednesday, January 27, 2010) – The Austin Aztex announced today its 2010 season ticket options and its new fan membership program, Aztex Alliance.

Season tickets are priced at just $190 for adults and $150 for youth.  The new open-ended season ticket allows fans the flexibility of using one ticket at each of the 15 regular season games or using multiple tickets for several games.  Game day tickets are priced at $15 for adults 16 years of age and older and $12 for youth 15 years of age and younger, children 5 and under are free. Purchasing a season ticket saves fans 15% off the price of game-day tickets.  2010 Season Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting
www.austinaztex.com or by calling 512-335-8881.  Fans who purchase season tickets by February 12 will receive a complimentary Aztex scarf.
 
In 2010 the Aztex will move into the intimate confines of House Park located on the corner of 15th Street and Lamar.  The 6,500 seat stadium provides fans with a unique experience as fans will be just three yards from the playing field.  All seating inside House Park will be general admission.
 
“House Park is going to provide fans with an unmatched atmosphere in the Austin area,” said Aztex CEO Djorn Buchholz.   “Fans will be really close to the action which will make watching these high-level games a new and exciting experience for all in attendance.  This is truly going to be the coolest thing in town.”
 
New in 2010, fans can also become members of the Aztex Alliance at one of two levels.  The Aztex Alliance – Premium membership, allows fans a voice into team decisions as well as exclusive Aztex Alliance events and merchandise. 

Premium members will receive the following benefits:

• Voting rights on club decisions (Official scarf design, exhibition opponents, member t-shirt design, etc.)

• Invitation to pre-season “Meet the Team” event

• Invitation to post-season “Awards Banquet” which will also host a member only auction of memorabilia from the season

• Chance to win an all inclusive trip with the team to an Aztex away game in the 2010 season
  
• Aztex Alliance only discounts on tickets/camps/merchandise

• Aztex Alliance member card with lanyard

• Aztex Alliance member only website (Website includes discussion board, updates before the general public, voting forum)

• Aztex Alliance T-shirt

• Lapel pin

• Aztex Alliance window cling

• An elected Aztex Alliance Commissioner who will be able to speak on behalf of the Aztex Alliance at Aztex board meetings

• At 1,500 Premium Aztex Alliance memberships, an Alliance member will gain a seat on the Aztex board

• Must be 18 years of age to be a Premium Aztex Alliance member

Aztex Alliance- Basic members will receive:

Aztex Alliance-Basic can be purchased if by fans under the age of 18.
 
The Premium Aztex Alliance membership can be purchased for an annual fee of $100.  Season ticket holders can purchase the Premium Aztex Alliance membership for the discounted rate of $90.
 
The Basic Aztex Alliance membership can be purchased for an annual fee of $20.  Fans do not need to be a season ticket holder to become a member of the Aztex Alliance.
 
“We surveyed fans at the end of last season about the Founders Club and the whole membership concept” said Aztex President, Phil Rawlins. “Based on that feedback we modified the Founders Club to become the new Aztex Alliance, incorporating more team events and the chance for members to vote on important issues. We also lowered the cost of becoming a member and introduced an entry level membership at only $20.
