New Staff To Help Prepare For 2009
Austin Aztex FC recently added several new members to its front office staff as it prepares for its first season in the USL First Division. The Aztex will start USL-1 play next April against teams from across North America, including: Atlanta, Portland, Montreal and Puerto Rico.

Town & Country Sports Complex to host games
The Austin Aztex affiliate, Stoke City FC, which is set to play in the Barclay’s Premier League in the UK, is sending its U18 Academy for eight days of training in Austin prior to the start of the academy season. The Lonestar Soccer Club will be hosting the Stoke City Academy and several “friendlies” have been announced which should be of some interest to Aztex fans.

Organization ready to begin expanding team
The new Austin Aztex FC offices are now officially open for business. They are located next door to the Soccer USA store in the Anderson Arbor shopping center, at US Hwy 183 North & Anderson Mill Road. The address is 13359 US Hwy 183 North, Suite 401, Austin, TX 78750. Stoke City have been promoted back to the top flight of English football to end a 23-year absence following a goalless draw against Leicester City Sunday afternoon. Over 26,600 supporters packed in to the Britannia Stadium, the highest league attendance in ten years, to witness the historic game.
