After an extensive search the Austin Aztex U23s today announced their home stadium for the coming season. The Aztex will play all eight home games at Dragon Stadium in Round Rock. The stadium is easily accessed from I-35 and RR 620 and has a state-of-the-art field that was installed less than three months ago. Dragon Stadium has about 8,000 seats, split on two sides of the field.

Phil Rawlins, Aztex President, said "It has taken almost three months of intense work to arrive at this announcement today. Dragon Stadium left goal I was determined that we would have both a permanent home for all 8 home games and a stadium we could be proud of as a club; we have both these in Dragon Stadium. The access from I-35 is great, the atmosphere, layout and facilities are excellent. I can see our fans enjoying Dragon and making a lot of noise here!" Rawlins added, "I want to thank Round Rock ISD for working with us on this contract and making Dragon available for all our games. Many of the field options our fans had talked about are unavailable in 2008, for one reason or another, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be re-visiting them for the 2009 season."

Be part of the inaugural season of the Austin Aztex: 2008 season tickets and Founders Club memberships (which include season tickets) are still available.
