Biography:
Needham, 6’2”, most recently spent the 2008 and 2009 seasons playing in the Norwegian First Division with Alta IF. Over the past two seasons Needham has played in 50 games with Alta IF, logged over 4,000 minutes, and scored three goals. Needham was named captain of the team the final four games of the 2008 season, and was named as the captain of the squad for the 2009 season.
Prior to heading to Norway, Needham was honored as the United Soccer League’s 2007 Rookie of the Year for his performance that season with the Puerto Rico Islanders. During the 2007 season he logged over 2,000 minutes in 25 matches, scoring one goal and tallying two assists.
Needham attended Southern Methodist University where he was a finalist for the Hermann Trophy in 2006. While at SMU, Needham earned several honors during his career including First Team All-Conference in 2005 and 2006, Conference USA Defender of the Year in 2006, First Team Midwest Region in 2005 and 2006, and First Team All-American in 2006.

1. What profession would you be in if you weren’t playing soccer? I really don't know. I probably would have gone into some form of the military
2. What other languages do you speak? Broken Norwegian, and a little bit of Spanish
3. Favorite sport to watch/favorite to play other than soccer? American Football is my favorite sport other than Soccer, but I really love all sports in general
4. If you could dine with any three people in history, they would be… Jesus, King Richard the Lionheart, and Julius Cesar...that would be an interesting dinner
5. Who’s the funniest player on the team? Miguel hands down. He's got some good one liners
6. Favorite book? The Bible
