Worthen comes to the Aztex by way of multiple stops throughout both the USL and the MLS. Worthen most recently took the pitch for the Richmond Kickers, following stints with both the Carolina RailHawks and Real Salt Lake. Prior to his time in Utah, he was on the Richmond Kickers for the first of his two runs with the team.

The Salt Lake City, Utah, native played college soccer at the University of South Carolina where he took NSCAA All-First Team honors. After graduation, he joined the Pittsburgh Riverhounds to kick off his pro career.
