DFW Tornados Coming Saturday
U23s 2nd home game also U.S. Open Cup qualifier

The Aztex play their second home game this Saturday, May 17 at Round Rock High School’s Dragon Stadium in Round Rock, TX. The Aztex U23s (1-0-1) take on the DFW Tornados (0-0-0) at 7:30 PM.

DFW Tornados

Dallas-Fort Worth will have played their first game of the season the night before, traveling to south Texas for a match with the Laredo Heat.

The Aztex are coming off their 2-0 defeat of the Houston Leones at last Saturday’s home opener. The Aztex roster continues to solidify as more players just ending their college year have been recently added to the roster.

This regular-season game is also a U.S. Open Cup qualifying game; the 3rd of 4 for the Aztex, and the 2nd of 4 for the Tornados. The PDL Mid South Division team with the best record after their first 4 games will qualify to play the best teams — from every league and level — in the country in the U.S. Open Cup. The Aztex have a good start to these qualifiers, currently sitting in 1st place.

This game’s sponsor, NeuroSensory Centers of America, is also offering complimentary medical screenings at the stadium before the game. Between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM, come to meet with NeuroSensory Center’s physicians and staff and get free testing for:
